Herban Cura [er-ban coor-uh] seeks to trace the ecological history of plants & people. Through knowledge shares, immersions, and herbal remedies, their work aims to track and uncover the ways in which plants & people have been related to, colonized, or taken out of the right relationship over time.

As Marketing Director and Filmmaker at Herban Cura, I lead the promotion and documentation of the organization’s offerings through documentary-driven storytelling that centers medicinal plants and the people who care for them. In collaboration with environmental justice advocate Antonia Estela Pérez, class participants, and community members, I independently produce docu-style campaigns for social media and online publication.
