Victoria Barbarito (she/her) is a documentary director, editor, and videographer living on Lenape land in the Hudson Valley, NY. She holds a BFA in Film & Television from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and is a DTI-certified postpartum doula.
A queer, adopted artist of Mexican ancestry, her storytelling explores kinship across human, animal, and more-than-human worlds, exploring themes of transformation, liminality, and belonging in nature. Rooted in care and close observation, her filmmaking practice centers relational storytelling and embodied attention.
Her recent collaborations with cultural preservationists, food sovereignty advocates, Indigenous land stewards, and community herbalists across Turtle Island document stories of remembrance and returning to source.
